  • Graduate Candidate Assessment System

    The following gates determine specific events and candidate assessments to complete the Advanced Program. Advising meetings may be scheduled at anytime by the candidate or professor during the candidate’s participation in the Advanced Program. And, advising meetings are required at those times when deficiency reports are issued. Disposition Ratings may be conducted at anytime during the candidate’s participation in the Advanced Program.

    Admission to the Program

    Gate B

    Admission to Graduate Candidacy

    • Completion of 18 Hours of Graduate Studies
      • Advising Meeting
      • 3.0 GPA check
      • Disposition Rating Scale
      • Advisor Recommendation
    • Letter of Acceptance to Candidacy

    Gate C

    Completion of the Graduate Program

    • Completion of all Graduate Coursework (36 graduate credit hours) and University requirements, which include:
      • 3.0 GPA in all Graduate Courses
      • Successful Completion of Planned Field Experience
      • Successful Completion Research Project Requirements & Exit Conference
      • Attendance at two Exit Conferences with written report
      • Disposition Rating Scale
      • Exit Conference
    • Application for Graduation
