STEUBENVILLE, OH—How do Catholics in the modern workplace integrate their faith and grow closer to Christ through their daily duties?
Kevin Lowry, the chief operating officer of the Coming Home Network International, a Catholic apostolate that assists non-Catholic pastors and laity in their journey to Catholicism, will address those questions at Franciscan University of Steubenville on Wednesday, November 14.
His talk, “Faith at Work: Finding Purpose Beyond the Paycheck,” hosted by Franciscan University’s chapter of Students in Free Enterprise, (SIFE), will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room of the St. Joseph Center at the University.
Lowry, a Franciscan University alumnus, released his first book Faith at Work: Finding Purpose Beyond the Paycheck, in 2012. He has also written for numerous Catholic publications and websites such as Envoy Magazine, The Catholic Answer Magazine, New Covenant, The Integrated Catholic Life, Catholic News Agency, and Catholic Exchange.
Lowry holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Franciscan University and an MBA from Franklin University. He is a certified public accountant in Ohio. He is a member of the board of directors of Our Sunday Visitor, and president of the Columbus chapter of Legatus.
The event is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
