Academic expenses* for each course are as follows (textbook costs and shipping and handling charges are not included):

**The $75.00 media package is a single CD-ROM that contains MP3 audio lectures and an HTML study guide. Audio cassette media packages and CD-ROM media packages that include a print study guide are available for $85.00.
Applicants seeking admission to the Distance Learning MA Theology program as degree-seeking students* may be eligible to participate in the Federal Direct Loan Program. This program enables students to borrow at low interest rates.
Students who participate in the Direct Loan Program:
- Must be a degree-seeking student (MA Theology degree)*
- Must be enrolled half-time (two courses - six credits)
- Must complete both courses (six credits) within six months
Students eligible to defer loans must submit manual deferment forms to the Distance Learning Office.
Repayment begins six months after the student graduates, withdraws, or is enrolled less than half-time.
*Stafford Loans are not available for undergraduate and other nondegree-seeking participants.
Grants and Scholarships
The only scholarship presently available to Distance Learning students is the Africa Scholarship.
