New students who plan to work on campus can prepare before they arrive on campus by taking the following steps:
1. Download and complete (as much as possible) the following employment forms prior to your arrival:
2. Bring employment forms (above) and original documentation required by the Federal Form I-9 (a U.S. passport, or both a school- or government-issued photo ID and a U.S. Social Security card are the most common documents submitted) to New Student Orientation. SWOP staff members will receive your forms, inspect your original documents, and provide information about obtaining a SWOP position.
Students who do not present the appropriate original documents will not be permitted to work on campus. The completion of this process will expedite admission to the SWOP Job Fair held each Fall. [There is no SWOP Job Fair in the Spring semester.]
