Baron Day 2024
Join us in person on our Ohio campus June 6-7, 2024, or June 13-14, 2024.

 

Students have the option to stay overnight in a residence hall Thursday night.

You’ll need your student ID number, which can be found in your Baron Day email invite or by contacting Admissions.

This form will also include academic questions to help us best prepare for your academic advising.

Important Information
  • Check-in will begin at 3:00PM on Thursday, and programming will finish by 2:00PM on Friday.
  • For the most efficient Baron Day experience, we recommend submitting your housing deposit, completing the housing application and health forms prior to Baron Day, and confirming your intended major. You can check your class schedule on the Port prior to your arrival.
  • The schedule of events can be found below; check your email for pre-arrival information and reminders.

  • Baron Day is an opportunity for you to complete your next steps to enrollment prior to Fall Orientation (financial aid, health forms, student work, etc.).
  • Meet one-on-one with a faculty advisor in your major to review or adjust your academic schedule.
  • Learn about various clubs, organizations and extra-curricular activities you can be involved in
  • Receive your student ID card

Getting Food at Baron Day

Flying in? Our transportation team can arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the airport and nearby hotels. Click here to send us your flight information.

Staying overnight on campus? We will provide linens and pillows. Roommates for the night will be assigned at check in.

Parents coming with you? They are more than welcome to join for all of the presentations and events, but must make reservations to stay at a nearby hotel. Click HERE for accommodations.

Travel Information

Arrival and Departure: Shuttles To-From the Airport

Shuttles will run between Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) on Thursday and Friday. If you are requesting transportation to and from the airport, please fill out this form or send your flight itinerary to Victoria Vas at [email protected]. You will be contacted with the specifics concerning where and when to meet the shuttle in the days prior to your arrival.

Should your flight information change or should you need to cancel, please contact our office immediately so we can notify our shuttle drivers.

Late Arrivals

If you are arriving after check-in ends at 5:00PM on Thursday, you can still check in at the dinner social in the J.C. Williams Center. The latest check in for an overnight stay in the residence halls is 11:00 p.m. If you are arriving between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., please check in at Sts. Louis and Elizabeth Hall to obtain your room number and key from the housing host. Folders, schedules and nametags for late arrivals and those unable to attend the Thursday social will be available at a registration table before and after the Friday morning Mass.

Early Departures

Should you need to leave Baron Day before lunch on Friday, please indicate this on your registration form. Any missed activities may be completed prior to or during New Student Orientation in August.

Checkout and Luggage

Please check out of the residence halls by 7:30 a.m. on Friday. No Friday night lodging is available due to our summer conferences. There will be a room in the first floor of the J.C. Williams Center by the Mail Center set aside for luggage storage until 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
