| Duties | Serve as the Chapel's main lead for the department. Meet weekly with Director of Chapel Ministries to discuss and review all upcoming events. Prepare the agenda and lead the weekly Committee business meeting. Assist the Director of Chapel Ministries in the organization of all the liturgical events on campus. Supervise all the members of committee and serve as liaison between the volunteer ministers and the Chapel staff. Coordinate Fall retreat, minister appreciation nights, Spring workshop, Burn and Burry, ministry fairs and minister trainings. Responsible for all communications with Committee and prepares their binders. |
| Qualifications | Junior, senior or graduate student. Significant experience with liturgical events and protocols required. Experience as a member of Liturgy Committee and proven leadership abilities. Adept at event planning and organization. Excellent understanding of Liturgy and up-to-date knowledge of applicable church directives are a must. Good communication and research skills. Able to understand and communicate departmental information, policies and procedures, to operate office equipment, to use word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and other computer applications to perform tasks. Desktop publishing skills preferred. |
