DutiesAssist Director of Bookstore with training of SWOP customer service representatives for all departments with the Bookstore. Perform leadership functions during semesters and summer conferences including diligent monitoring of tradebook department sales, level of customer service delivered, and departmental section maintenance. Lead student workers in delivery of service to customers on sales floor, and in restocking of shelves on sales floor. Some lifting and moving of boxes required. Other responsibilities as assigned. This position reports to the Director of the Bookstore.
QualificationsMinimum of one year of experience as Bookstore Customer Service Lead, with demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communications skills. Able to train other students in use of computerized registers and computer applications to perform tasks. Must be well read and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the catholic faith, as well as an understanding of the mission of Franciscan University and the Bookstores' role in that mission. Able to lift and move heavy packages, to stand for long periods of time, and climb a step ladder.
