| Duties | To provide setup and support for use of video conference and computer equipment for faculty, staff and students. Responsible for security of equipment. Assist staff and faculty as assigned. To teach other Tech Buddies the skills necessary to ensure successful video conferencing. Workers assume the greatest responsibility for successful Video Conferences activities without the intervention of their coordinator. Will assist the staff coordinator and manage other Tech Buddy workers. They will make arrangements with faculty and staff to provide video conferencing services. They must be able to add and remove expansion cards in PC computers. |
| Qualifications | Students must have served as a Tech Buddy ll for at least 2 semesters or be able to demonstrate the highest level of competence in operating computer and audio/visual equipment. Tech Buddies must demonstrate a great interest and ability to work with computer, communication and/or networking equipment. Must be able to assume full responsiblilty for successful video conference functions. They must be able to manage other Tech Buddy workers and interact with faculty and staff in professional manner. Must have served a semester as Tech Buddy IV. |
