DutiesAssist in recruiting, training scheduling and supervising a staff of student employees who provide hospitality, greeting, setup and teardown services at events and liturgies. Oversee events in the absence of Events Coordinator. Assist with control of conference events supplies and equipment. Collaborate with other University staff to accomplish tasks. Assist departmental support and professional staff as assigned. Works closely with Events Lead 1.
QualificationsExperience with conference or events logistics preferred. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to supervise a staff of student employees. Experience with MS Word and Excel preferred. Able to perform delegated tasks. Able to lift and move tables, chairs and other conference equipment. Must be a team player. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as necessary. Able to meet deadlines. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Must have one full year of event worker experience and one full year of Event Lead I experience. Must understand and support the mission of the University.
