Voluntary COVID-19 Testing

The Biology Department conducts free rt-PCR based Covid-19 testing as part of a research study examining the prevalence and spread of Covid-19 on a college campus. The study involves voluntary testing of the University population at the beginning of the semester and voluntary ongoing small population based sampling throughout the semester. The ongoing testing is focused on higher risk populations and those more likely to be exposed to the virus due to living, work, or travel factors. This testing will help the University minimize the spread of the virus within the campus community.
