Franciscan University of Steubenville is seeking professionally competent, mission-driven candidates for the challenging and rewarding position of Vice President of Student Life. Responsible for fostering and developing a one-of-a-kind student culture at this academically excellent and passionately Catholic university, the Vice President of Student Life will help students thrive and be formed, through lives of charity and ongoing conversion, as joyful disciples of Jesus Christ and leaders in the Church and the world. Serving as the chief student-personnel officer, the Vice President of Student Life provides overall direction and leadership of the Student Life programs at Franciscan University, which encompass residence life, evangelization and household life, athletics, wellness center, student activities and programming, dining service, international student services, orientation, and campus events. Reporting to the Vice President of Student Life are the Dean of Students, Assistant Vice President of Student Life Services and Events, Director of Wellness Center, Director of Athletics, and an Administrative Assistant. The Vice President of Student Life reports to the President of the University, serves on the University’s leadership team, and participates in institutional strategic planning.
