Adjunct Professor of Sociology

The Sociology Program at Franciscan University of Steubenville invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor position beginning Fall 2024. Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in teaching the Intro to Sociology course. These are contracted part-time and term-specific faculty positions, renewable as needed by the university.
Franciscan University of Steubenville is an academically excellent and passionately Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition, located 24 miles west of Pittsburgh International Airport, in Steubenville, Ohio.
Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Sociology or a minimum of BS/BA in Sociology and a graduate degree in another field with experience in teaching sociology

A willingness to teach in the classroom on the Steubenville campus. This is Not an online position.
