The Fine Arts Department at Franciscan University of Steubenville invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Art to begin Fall 2025. Franciscan University of Steubenville is an academically excellent and passionately Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition, located 24 miles west of Pittsburgh International Airport, in Steubenville, Ohio.

Primary duty is teaching the Fine Arts Core class, Visual Arts and the Catholic Imagination. Ability to teach a course in Graphic Narrative a plus. M.A., M.F.A. or Ph.D., preferably in art history, required. The successful candidate must be committed to teaching excellence and support Catholic values and the University’s Mission Statement.
