The Registrar’s Office is here to maintain your academic records and assist as you move through your academic career at Franciscan University. We provide enrollment verifications, veterans information, and transcripts for future jobs and graduate school applications. We also handle class registration, transfer credits, and monitor degree progress and completion.

While still attending Franciscan University and after you’ve left your studies here, the registrar’s office is ready and willing to fulfill various requests you may have concerning your academic records.

2025 Registration Forms & Information

Spring 2025 Registration

  • The last day to add or drop for Grad Online Session 2 (Business, Catholic Studies, Criminal Justice) is Monday, March 17.
  • The last day to withdraw from Grad Online Session 2 (Business, Catholic Studies, Criminal Justice) is Friday, April 11.
  • The last day to withdraw from classes (except Online 2) is Friday, March 28.

New Students should contact our Admissions Office about applying to the University at [email protected]. Returning students who are not registered for classes in Spring 2025 must contact Admissions to fill out the student reactivation form before registering for classes in Fall 2025.

Fall 2025 Registration Dates and Information 

The Fall 2025 class schedule will be posted on The Port on Friday, March 14, 2025. Online registration on The Port for Fall 2025 will begin on March 24, 2025, and is based on student classification.

  • Graduate Students: Monday, March 24, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Undergraduate Online Students: Monday, March 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
  • Seniors (88+ earned credits): Monday, March 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
  • Juniors (60-87 earned credits): Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
  • Sophomores (27-59 credits): Monday, March 31, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
  • Freshmen (0-26 earned credits): Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

 Students may not join the waitlist for a course after Friday, April 11, 2025.

 

Summer 2025 Registration Dates and Information 

Online registration on The Port for Summer 2025 is currently opened for all students.

Transcript Request

How you order your transcript will depend on whether or not you have access to The Port.

Very Important Notes

  • All online orders are processed by the Office of the Registrar at Franciscan University. Please allow a few business days for processing.
  • Former students applying for a graduate program here at Franciscan University of Steubenville or who are applying for re-admittance to Franciscan do not need to request a Franciscan transcript
  • Expedited shipping may be available for an additional cost.
  • The status of an order can be monitored online in your Parchment account.
