STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Franciscan University Information Technology Services will make a number of upgrades and changes to various campus technology assets during the Christmas break to improve campus services. This work will temporarily result in spotty service and internet outages including the following:

  1. Sunday, December 24, 2017:  AccessFUS will be intermittently unavailable between the early morning hours of 12:30 and 4:30 a.m. due to a critical system upgrade by our single sign-on vendor. During this time, you may not be able to login to AccessFUS or access many of Franciscan’s online systems (email, Blackboard, MyFranciscan, etc.).
  2. Tuesday and Wednesday, December 26-27, 2017: Major upgrades to campus internet technology will result in the main University website, www.franciscan.edu, and MyFranciscan being entirely unavailable for a period of time on Tuesday, December 26, with intermittent outages on Wednesday, December 27.
  3. Wednesday, January 3, 2018: Campus email will be migrated to Office 365 and will be accessible via the “Mail” tile on AccessFUS. Groupwise will still be available temporarily to reference emails while the migration takes place, but Groupwise will no longer be able to send new emails. Further details are available on the Information Technology Services page.

If you have any questions, please contact ITS Helpdesk at 740-283-4357 or [email protected]. We apologize for any inconvenience you experience.
