STEUBENVILLE, OH—A benefactor with a great love for the priesthood is making it affordable for any seminarian to attend the Priests, Deacons, Seminarians Retreat, June 20-24, at Franciscan University of Steubenville. The offer covers the cost of registration, and on-campus room and board, a $405 value.

“This is a great opportunity for seminarians to see priests living in fellowship and praying together,” said John Beaulieu, director of Engagement and Partnerships for the Christian Outreach Office.

The theme for this year’s conference, “Come to the Table,” focuses on the table of the Lord as the place of unity, healing, and transformation. Speakers will include Father Dave Pivonka, TOR, Dr. John Bergsma, Father Paul Check, Dr. Scott Hahn, Father Jonathan Morris, and Bishop Edward Scharffenberger of the Diocese of Albany.

In addition, any priest or deacon who invites a priest or deacon who has never been to a Priests, Deacons, Seminarians Retreat at Franciscan University will receive $100 off the registration fee, as will the person he brings with him. The standard registration fee is $205.

“We are deeply touched by this anonymous benefactor’s generosity,” said Beaulieu. “His sole purpose is to enable priests, deacons, and seminarians to have a renewed encounter with Christ.”
