Franciscan University has a lot of great study spots. You might prefer the quiet of St. John Paul II Library or the busyness of the J.C. Williams Center. Figure out which place on campus will be your hangout spot with this quiz!
The Location You're Chillin' At:
Top floor of SS. Cosmas and Damian Hall
Your spot is SS. Cosmas and Damian Hall! This hall is home to our sciences. The tables on the top floor are the perfect spot for writing your lab reports or cranking out quadratic equations. Even if you want to study with people in a quieter environment, this is the place to be!
Cupertino's
Your spot is Cupertino’s Café in the J.C. Williams Center! Here, you can grab a hot cup of coffee to fuel your study sessions—or, more likely, to fuel your conversations with friends.
A common room
Your spot is a residence hall common room! At the end of a long day, you like nothing more than to spend time with good friends. The common room is where you can get together to hang out, play games, and talk well into the night. If you join a household, most wings in the residence halls have a household common room!
Finnegan Fieldhouse Gym
Your spot is Finnegan Fieldhouse! You’re the person in your friend group who is always on the move. Whether you run laps, shoot hoops, or lift weights, you’ll feel right at home in the gym. Follow the Student Life Instagram to stay up to date on gym hours or visit the switchboard in the J.C. Williams Center for updates!
Egan Plaza
Your spot is Egan Plaza! You love being outside any chance you get. The tables outside of Egan Hall provide the perfect place to write essays or study for exams while soaking up the sunshine.
Picnic tables outside the J.C.
Your spot is the picnic tables! The J.C. Williams Center is the student center on campus. So, its picnic tables are the ideal spots for social butterflies to catch friends between classes, eat lunch outside, or even join in a round of Spikeball or Frisbee. When the weather is nice, you can expect everyone to be at the picnic tables!
Antonian Hall ("the Caf")
Your spot is Antonian Hall! You enjoy good food and good company, so the dining hall is the ideal spot for you. Head upstairs if you want a social meal with friends or go downstairs if you’re looking for a quieter atmosphere. The dining hall also has late night dining until 11:00 p.m. on weeknights, or what students just call “late night.”
