Franciscan University of Steubenville has signed and returned the certification and agreement form for the Cares Act funds received from a federal grant. Franciscan University of Steubenville has used more than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to eligible students.
Franciscan University of Steubenville has received $802,359 in HEERF funds student portion which represents the minimum required funds to be provided for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
As of June 30, 2020, Franciscan University of Steubenville has distributed a total of $995,000 in Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act. Additional updates will be provided every 45 days after July 3, 2020.
Franciscan University of Steubenville estimates that 1,990 of its students are eligible to participate in programs under Section 474 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 1,990.
Franciscan University of Steubenville has issued a one-time payment of $500 to each eligible student effected by Covid-19 displacement on June 5, 2020.
