An affordable, private college education is available right here in the Ohio Valley.
Qualifying students in the local Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania area can save 50 percent off tuition–a savings of approximately $15,000 each year or $60,000 savings on a typical four-year college education.
How does it work?
Through a combination of Franciscan University scholarships and grants, 50 percent of each student’s tuition will be covered. Also, you can lower tuition costs even further by utilizing additional state and federal financial aid such as the Pell Grant, Ohio and Pennsylvania state grants, and work study.
Who Qualifies?
The Franciscan Commuter Grant Program is available to graduating high school seniors who live with their families within commuting distance.
To participate in the program you must:
- Gain admittance to Franciscan University (regularly or through our Freshman Success Program);
- Be a full-time, day commuter student;
- Enroll directly for the first semester following your high school graduation.
