STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—Hank Kuzma, Franciscan’s legendary basketball coach, recently thanked two donors for their contributions to the $5 million expansion of Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Finnegan Fieldhouse. The donors, Dr. Thomas Matanzo and Dr. Thomas Graham, received pieces of the Baron basketball court signed by Kuzma and naming rights for their donations.

A local dentist and 1981 Franciscan alumnus, Matanzo purchased the naming rights to a cardio machine. Graham, Jefferson County Commissioner and director of the Social Work Program at Franciscan University, bought the naming rights to the sauna in the men’s locker room. Both are holding a piece of Kuzma Court they received for their donations.

Naming rights are available for many of the rooms, equipment, and services that come with the expansion. If you are interested in making your name or a loved one’s a permanent feature in Finnegan Fieldhouse, contact Chris Ice in the Franciscan University Development Office at 740-284-5474 or email [email protected].
