Bio
Bruce Wayne serves as CEO of Wayne Enterprises, one of the world’s most influential multinational corporations, where he oversees investments spanning technology, healthcare, infrastructure, renewable energy, and advanced research. Under his leadership, the company has maintained a reputation for innovation while expanding its commitment to sustainable business practices and philanthropic initiatives.
A Gotham native, Wayne earned degrees in economics and business before completing advanced studies in international finance and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he has advised public and private organizations on strategic growth, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management, and long-term capital planning.
Professor Wayne joined the university to help bridge the gap between financial theory and executive decision-making. His courses combine traditional financial principles with practical case studies, encouraging students to evaluate markets through the lenses of strategy, ethics, and resilience. He is known for challenging students to justify every recommendation with evidence, anticipate unintended consequences, and develop solutions that create lasting value rather than short-term gains.
In addition to teaching, Wayne serves on the boards of numerous charitable foundations and nonprofit organizations dedicated to education, healthcare, urban renewal, and youth development.
