Franciscan High School Advantage Program

Earn college credit while still in high school

Franciscan University is proud to offer this program for dual enrollment to our high school students.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Rising Juniors and Seniors in high school
  2. 16 years of age
  3. Possess a 2.4 GPA.

 

Courses

  • All courses are asynchronous, with prerecorded videos, readings, and weekly assignments.

 

Online Community

  • Dual enrolled high school students become part of Franciscan Universities Online learning community. They are issued a Franciscan ID and email, have access to our Franciscan Life Online Faith Formation, our university library, our writing center, and student success center, as well as many live and recorded talks and presentations.

 

Cost

  • The cost is only $450 for a 3-credit college course. This is an 85% discount as compared to the in-person tuition rate. Payments can be made by credit card or check.

 

Application & Enrollment Process:

  1. Complete the free, quick, and easy application (above). Indicate which courses you’d like to be enrolled in. High school students are eligible to take a maximum of 2 courses per semester with a maximum of 36 dual enrollment credits (12 credits).
  2. Franciscan University Admissions will review your application and admit you.
  3. Franciscan University staff will enroll you in the indicated courses. High school students are not able to enroll themselves. Franciscan University staff will communicate through email the confirmation of admittance and enrollment.
