STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Anathan Theatre will perform William Shakespeare’s As You Like It on November 8, 9, 15, and 16 at 7:00 p.m., and November 10 and 17 at 2:00 p.m.

Directed by Franciscan University theatre professor Dr. Monica Anderson, the play will be performed in Anathan Theatre on the ground floor of Egan Hall.

As You Like It is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies. It features French nobility who, when stripped of their worldly riches, embrace the challenges of a simpler life and discover the true riches of love and forgiveness. At its core, the play is a celebration of the power in treating hardships as opportunities to find and create goodness.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the door. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free of charge for religious and children 12 and younger.
