STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Anathan Theatre will present “Words, Words, Words and How to Use Them to Write Good, Part II: Writing Even Gooder” on November 4, 5, 11, and 12 at 7:00 p.m. and on November 6 and 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anathan Theater in Egan Hall.
Directed by Dr. Monica Fay Anderson, professor and chair of the Fine Arts Department, this original production will feature three hilarious one-act plays on the theme of writers and writing: Anderson’s own “In It Together,” David Ives’ “Words, Words, Words” and “Variations on the Death of Trotsky.” The show also features adaptations of short stories and memoirs, including Michael O’Donohue’s “How to Write Good,” as well as advice to writers from authors Stephen King, Richard Russo, and Ann Patchett. The production will feature songs written by actors in the performance.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. The cost of the performance is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for students and seniors, and free of charge for children under 12. Make your reservation online here.
