STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Anathan Theatre will present Life in Color: A New Musical on April 5, 6, 12, and 13 at 7:00 p.m. and April 7 and 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anathan Theater in Egan Hall.
Franciscan University student, AmyLynn Miller, wrote, directed, and composed the music for the musical. It tells the story of passionate young woman named Mona. Burdened by abandonment in her past and weighty responsibility, she is determined to prove she can make it on her own at art school. But when she is accused of art fraud and faces the demise of all her dreams, her brother Charlie and roommate Kathleen must help Mona see that imperfection and failure are just as vital to life as relationship and community. With a vibrant ensemble of singers and dancers, Life in Color: A New Musical is a heartrending story that asks what we let ourselves be defined by.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. The cost of the performance is $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and seniors, and free of charge for Religious and children under 12.
