Schedule:  Part-time – Variable hours; outside work; travel for recruitment of student-athletes and contest participation

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Head Rugby Coach is responsible for the administration, development, and advancement of a competitive National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Division III rugby program in alignment with the mission of the Franciscan University Athletic Department: forming disciples, developing leaders, and pursuing excellence. This role requires a strong commitment to the recruitment and formation of student athletes who demonstrate both athletic ability and dedication to personal, academic, and spiritual growth.

The Head Coach provides comprehensive oversight of all aspects of the program, including but not limited to recruiting, player development, practice planning, game strategy, and day-to-day program administration. In addition, the Coach fosters the holistic development of student-athletes within a Christ-centered environment, supporting their formation as individuals of character, integrity, and faith.
