Illuminating the Nature and Mission of Man and Woman

The Institute for the Study of Man and Woman at Franciscan University is a leading Catholic voice in recovering the truth of man and woman and equipping the Church and society with a robust, coherent, and joy-filled account of God’s beautiful design for humanity, created male and female.

Through interdisciplinary research and education, we illuminate and proclaim God’s design to our students and to the wider Church and world, inviting all men and women to come to know and live out their complementary nature, genius, and mission.
