The Step in Faith plan helps meets the urgent needs of many students whose ability to attend Franciscan University of Steubenville has been jeopardized by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On April 18, 2020 Franciscan University’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved the Step in Faith COVID-19 response plan to help students and families overcome obstacles to a Franciscan University education caused by the pandemic. Step in Faith covers a number of relief measures for graduating seniors, and on-campus new and returning students, both commuter and residential.
Providing this level of financial assistance is a step in faith for Franciscan University because our resources must cover so many competing needs. Thus, we have deferred other plans and projects this year so we can use far more of our reserves toward this enhanced financial aid for our students in need.
