Two Free Sessions at Franciscan University Summer Conferences

STEUBENVILLE, OH—The public is invited to attend at no cost two evening sessions during the Steubenville adult conferences being held this month at Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Applied Biblical Studies Conference, Thursday, July 27, 7:00 p.m.

Jeff Cavins, creator of the Bible study program The Great Adventure: A Journey of the Bible, will give a talk, “The Witness of Suffering: Lessons From Paul’s Missionary Journey in Acts,” followed by a Holy Hour led by Archbishop Paul Coakley of Oklahoma City.

Defending the Faith Conference, Saturday, July 29, 7:00 p.m.

Best-selling author and Franciscan University theologian Dr. Scott Hahn will speak on “Always Reforming: The Spirit of Renewal.” His talk will be followed by a Holy Hour led by Father Louis Merosne, co-founder of Haiti180 and a missionary priest in the Diocese of Anse-à-Veau and Miragoâne in Haiti.
