Faculty Mentorship

Your career preparation starts in the classroom. Alongside our expert professors, you’ll learn how to think critically, solve problems, and make a positive impact.

You can also take advantage of research or other hands-on learning right here on campus. For example, science students work with faculty in the lab on cutting-edge research. Engineering students construct innovative projects in our engineering workshops. Communication arts students write for the student newspaper or help produce the monthly Franciscan University Presents television show for EWTN.

Internship and Career Fairs

You can gain valuable experience and get a head start on your career while still in college! More than 200 employers come to Franciscan’s on-campus career fairs annually. During the 2025–26 academic year, nearly 1,400 students took advantage of these networking opportunities to explore their field, find internships, and make professional connections.

More than 87% of the Class of 2026 completed an internship or equivalent work experience.

The Office for Personal Vocation
