Undergraduate Admissions

Hello! My name is Katie Parrish, and I am beyond excited to be on this admissions team! Coming from a Naval military family, I was born on base at Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA. My family then moved across the country and settled outside Philadelphia, PA in Bucks County, where we have lived ever since. I felt a surprising, yet undeniable call placed on my heart to attend Franciscan University my senior year of high school. Four years later in 2022, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Theology and two minors in Business Management and Communication Arts. During my time at Franciscan, I was blessed with so many remarkable opportunities to grow and strengthen my faith. I was a team member on two different mission trips to Honduras, Central America and Lourdes, France. I joined Little Flower’s household, traveled abroad to Gaming, Austria twice, played on a championship winning Intramural Frisbee team, and was part of The Center for Leadership Program and Student Government. My heart and mind were radically transformed both inside and outside of the classroom at Franciscan, surrounded by like-minded students, faculty, and staff. I am incredibly grateful that God knows better than me and had a plan from the beginning! I believe that you are made for greatness and look forward to walking with you as you discover this at Franciscan!
