Six (or so) Playwrights in Search of a Director runs November 6–15.
Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Anathan Theatre will present Six (or so) Playwrights in Search of a Director, an original comedy-drama written and directed by Dr. Monica Anderson, professor and chair of the University’s Fine Arts Department, November 6–15.
The play follows a university theatre director who auditions playwrights from the past and present in search of a production exploring war and peace. Blending humor with serious reflection, the play examines why humanity engages in war, the suffering it leaves behind, and the enduring search for peace.
Performances will take place in Anathan Theatre, located on the ground floor of Egan Hall, on Fridays and Saturdays, November 6–7 and 13–14, at 7:00 p.m., and Sundays, November 8 and 15, at 2:00 p.m.
The production runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Admission is free for priests and members of religious communities and children 12 and under.
Tickets may be purchased at the box office before each performance or online in advance.
