New scholarship offers incoming students the opportunity to earn up to full tuition.
With the aid of generous benefactors, Franciscan University of Steubenville is offering a scholarship to provide significant financial aid for new students considering Franciscan from the Dioceses of Greensburg, Altoona-Johnstown, Erie, and Pittsburgh.
“We are so pleased that generous benefactors from Western Pennsylvania have made the St. Pope John Paul II Scholarship available to our neighbors in that region.”
– Franciscan University President Father Dave Pivonka, TOR
The scholarship fund gives priority to high school and transfer students in Western Pennsylvania dioceses; however, students in other dioceses within Pennsylvania, who meet the criteria, will also be considered should there be remaining funds available.
Named for a saint dear to the benefactors’ hearts, the St. Pope John Paul II Scholarship is available for incoming students who meet the required qualifications.
